Are you ready to apply your structural engineering knowledge? At Foth our internships offer immersive, hands-on experiences that build technical expertise and professional confidence. As a Structural Engineering Intern in our Mehoopany, PA office, you’ll work directly at one of Foth’s client locations, supporting the design, analysis, and rehabilitation of structural systems for industrial facilities. This Summer 2027 opportunity will expose you to industry tools and practices while giving you opportunities to solve real engineering challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Apply structural design and engineering fundamentals
  • Perform tasks under the supervision of a lead engineer
  • Develop detailed structural drawings using 2D and 3D CAD packages
  • Assist with validation of software and drawing databases
Required Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
  • Previous experience with and/or coursework involving 2D/3D CAD software
  • Previous experience with and/or coursework involving the theory of and/or designing of concrete or steel structures
