Position Overview

The Accounts Payable Coordinator processes full-cycle vendor invoices, reconciles vendor statements, and processes payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Deposit client payments via remote banking.

·         Receive, verify, and enter vendor invoices into accounting system.

·         Review vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

·         Prepare and process weekly check runs.

·         Process employee expense reimbursements.

·         Process American Express and Chase Visa credit card transactions.

·         Serve as backup for Accounting Associate.

 

Qualifications and Skills

·         Associate’s degree in Accounting.

·         Three to five years of accounts payable experience.

·         Previous experience in the interior design industry a plus.

·         Experience with Design Manager a plus.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

·         Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
