Supports healthcare interior design, furniture planning, space planning, occupancy planning, and patient-centered healthcare environments.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop interior design concepts and finish recommendations.
  • Support furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) planning.
  • Participate in healthcare space utilization studies.
  • Support occupancy and transition planning.
  • Review healthcare facility layouts and design packages.
  • Coordinate with architects, planners, and clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare design standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 5+ years healthcare interior design experience.
  • Experience supporting healthcare facility projects.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 1/NACI investigation and Common Access Card (CAC).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred.
  • NCIDQ Certification.
  • SEPS experience.
  • Evidence-based healthcare design experience.
  • Healthcare activation experience.
  • Experience with military healthcare facilities.
  • Prior experience supporting Defense Health Agency (DHA), DHA Facilities Enterprise (DHA-FE), NAVFAC Medical Facilities Program Office (MFPO), USACE Medical MILCON programs, Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare facilities, military hospital replacement programs, healthcare activation/IO&T efforts, SEPS planning, or federal healthcare construction programs.

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000.
