The team focuses on thoughtful space planning, curated furniture selections, and coordinated finishes that reflect each client’s lifestyle and brand. I wood decor values collaboration, clear communication, and attention to detail throughout the design process. The company offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, from small renovations to full-scale interior transformations.

Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Interior Design Specialist role based in Miami, FL, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Interior Design Specialist will plan and design interior spaces, including layouts, furniture arrangements, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating materials and finishes, and aligning designs with budget and project timelines. The role involves collaborating with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders, tracking orders, and ensuring timely installation and project completion. The Interior Design Specialist will also maintain accurate documentation, support project coordination, and contribute to a consistent, high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with the ability to create functional, visually cohesive layouts.
  • Experience with Furniture selection and configuration to meet client needs and design goals.
  • Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specification, sourcing, and coordination.
  • Effective Communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts and collaborate with clients and project teams.
  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic project documentation.
