Job Summary
Staff on Site is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman to join our customers innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and 3D models that translate conceptual ideas into detailed construction documents. Your expertise will support architectural, engineering, and construction projects by ensuring accurate representation of designs, compliance with building codes, and seamless integration with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while honing your skills in advanced CAD software and design techniques.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to accurately depict project specifications.
  • Create comprehensive construction detail documentation that adheres to industry standards and building code requirements.
  • Utilize BIM tools like Revit and Rhino 3D to facilitate building information modeling, ensuring efficient project coordination and data sharing.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce schematics, layouts, and design concepts that meet project goals.
  • Perform building code analysis to verify compliance and identify potential design issues early in the process.
