Position Title: High School Science Teacher

Position Summary:
Hugoton USD 210 is seeking a dynamic and student-centered High School Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide engaging, rigorous instruction across multiple science courses while supporting the district's commitment to college and career readiness. This position will include teaching a variety of science courses and supporting the district's growing career pathway opportunities in health science and biotechnology.

Potential Teaching Assignments May Include:

  • Anatomy & Physiology
  • Medical Terminology

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based science instruction aligned with Kansas State Standards.
  • Develop hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences that promote scientific thinking and real-world application.
  • Support students in developing skills related to health science and biotechnology career pathways.
  • Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and support student growth.
