Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' orthopedic conditions including reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments to identify individual treatment needs.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect the patient's health status, progress, and feedback.

  • Utilize state-of-the-art treatment techniques and tools to facilitate recovery, demonstrating proficiency in various protocols tailored to diverse patient presentations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will work with primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. Your expertise will help facilitate their rehabilitation, enabling them to regain mobility, strength, and overall function. In this role, you'll address ailments such as fractures, post-surgical recovery, arthritis, and other orthopedic disorders.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

  • A valid physical therapy license in Virginia, in accordance with state regulations.

  • Current CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a physical therapist, specifically in an orthopedic setting, is preferred.
