Inter Care Therapy Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team. This role is designed for a licensed professional able to work comfortably in a remote setting. Our team utilizes state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate seamless communication and documentation. Despite the remote nature of this position, you will receive ongoing support and collaboration from our multidisciplinary team, ensuring you feel connected and valued within our organization.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through individual sessions, allowing you to identify and address specific areas of concern.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that leverage evidence-based practices to assist clients in overcoming their mental health challenges.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, to provide clients with the necessary tools and strategies for effective coping.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care, making referrals as necessary for medication management or specialized interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment plans to support their therapeutic journey and comply with state regulations.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client base that includes individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will apply cultural competence in your approach, ensuring that clients feel understood and supported within the therapeutic environment.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a current and valid New York State license as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, or LMFT.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with diverse populations and presenting mental health issues is essential.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy sessions.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure environments.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for tracking patient information and treatment plans.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by an attractive sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
