Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning and AI. The Tiger Analytics team is seeking a BI Consultant to deliver innovative tools and solutions to global business teams. This is a cross-functional role that requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaison with technical teams and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with business stakeholders in gathering and formulating the requirements and coming out with a relevant solution construct for enterprise BI and Dashboard initiatives
  • Analyze business requirements; construct the conceptual model and data flow processes
  • Communicate data architecture to development teams
  • Consult and perform design reviews to ensure business needs are met – wireframing, prototyping, etc.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards
  • Partner with other team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions
  • Manage and resolve client issue escalation and systemic improvements
  • Work with offshore team to develop/deliver the BI dashboards/reports and bring the new, scalable solutions to business stakeholders
  • Lead validation efforts to ensure data quality
  • Identify and execute risk mitigation and compliance exercises
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6-10 year’s experience in a BI Manager/Product Owner or related role delivering BI/Reporting projects in an enterprise or consulting role
  • Experience with Quicksight and AWS environment is a must
  • Knowledge of other Business intelligence and reporting tools such as PowerBI and Tableau is highly desired
  • Experience and knowledge with Data Warehouse ETL process
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and big data systems such as Hadoop HDFS, Hive is a plus
  • Experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
  • Experience or familiarity with the Retail and eCommerce industry is a big plus
  • Excellent communication skills
