Job description

The Allied Solutions internship program is a robust and consistent internship program for juniors and seniors. The program will focus on learning and development as well as hands-on experience. The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to execute projects within your area of professional interests.
Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 17th - Aug. 6th, 2027). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based at our headquarters in Carmel, IN.
As an IT Performance Analyst Intern, you will support the Enterprise Technology Performance & Insights (ETPI) team in analyzing technology performance, developing dashboards, and generating insights that help drive data-informed decision-making across the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG). This internship provides hands-on exposure to business intelligence, performance analytics, data visualization, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement while working alongside experienced analysts and technology leaders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with building, maintaining, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and IT performance reports.

  • Support data collection, validation, and analysis from multiple technology and operational data sources.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to identify trends and insights.

  • Participate in requirements gathering, testing, and quality assurance activities to support reporting and analytics initiatives.

  • Document metrics, reporting processes, dashboard functionality, and user guidance materials.

  • Research reporting best practices and support process improvement, automation, and data visualization initiatives while presenting findings and recommendations to the team.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA)

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Informatics, Business Analytics or a related field

  • Strong interest in analytics, reporting, and data visualization

  • Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with Agile concepts or project work (Preferred)

  • Experience working with data in academic, internship, or extracurricular projects (Preferred)
