Job Summary:
OxyChem is a growing, action-oriented, safety driven chemical manufacturing company striving for excellence in environmental protection. The IT Advisor – Intelex & HSE Application Enablement serves as the senior subject matter expert for HSE digital platforms, providing technical leadership and governance for the Intelex ecosystem while ensuring alignment with operational excellence objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the functional and technical owner of the Intelex platform, providing end-to-end technical design of the modules, configuration, and lifecycle management across modules such as Incident Management, Audits, Quality, Training, and Document Control.
• Architect and optimize workflows, forms, dashboards, reporting, security roles, and data structures to support evolving regulatory and business requirements.
• Establish platform governance standards, best practices, and documentation to ensure system integrity, scalability, and audit readiness.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and manage vendor escalations with Intelex to ensure timely and sustainable resolution of complex issues.
• Design and support integration between Intelex and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, data warehouses), leveraging Intelex’s flexible integration framework and enterprise data standards.
• Act as the primary point of escalation and advisory support for HSE application users, delivering expert guidance on system functionality, analytics, and data quality.
• Develop and maintain advanced user documentation, training materials, and knowledge resources to drive adoption, consistency, and self-service capability.
• Provide consultative support to leadership by enabling insights through dashboards, KPIs, and reporting aligned with enterprise risk and performance objectives.
• Lead and support system implementations, module deployments, upgrades, and major enhancements, including planning, testing (UAT), and rollout execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on change management, communications, and adoption strategies to ensure successful enterprise deployment.
• Contribute to long-term HSE digital strategy and roadmap development, aligning system capabilities with business priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support enterprise-wide collaboration and strategic planning efforts, enabling data transparency and standardized processes like Intelex’s company-wide collaborative planning model.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years Intelex experience
• Experience EHSQ/HESS digital platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical users.
Preferred:
• JavaScript (for front-end customization and API integration)
• C# (for backend development and API interactions)
• Python (for automation and data processing)
• SQL & PL/SQL (for database management and queries)
• JSON (for API responses and data formatting)
