Job description

Belay Technologies is seeking a System Engineer to join our intel team. The Secure Token Service (STS) team lead will coordinate requirements, architect solutions, and support implementation of federation and Single Sign On capabilities as enterprise solutions. The candidate will lead a team consisting of developers, system integrators, and system administrators to install, configure, operate, and maintain COTS products to support Secure Token capabilities. Candidates will perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of new COTS products and tools. The candidate is expected to have direct experience with and understanding PKI/TLS, SAML/OAuth/OIDC concepts. While not required, some development experience may be useful.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:  

  • TS/SCI with polygraph is required.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines
  • 12 years of System Engineering experience.  An additional 4+ years of System Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 14 years.   

Candidates are required to have the following skills: 

  • Extensive experience with customer ICAM solutions.
  • Ability to work with the installation and customization of COTS products in an enterprise environment on Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Familiar with Secure Token Service and Single Sign-On
  • Experience with Ping, Okta, Login.gov, or Keycloak integration
  • AWS and/or Azure cloud certification and experience
  • Familiarity with orchestration and automation toolsets including Cloud native architectures.
  • Experience leading a team working directly with functional counterparts on requirements gathering and program specification and design and information systems. This includes supporting onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Experience estimating and planning new requirement implementation.
  • Ability to develop, diagnose and debug automation and integrate modern and legacy tools to optimize business processes.
  • Understanding of networking and troubleshooting
  • Must have an understanding of the software development life-cycle, including change management, functional and technical specification development.
  • Experience with generation and updating technical documentation in Confluence.

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
