Job Details:Job Description: Intel's Foundry Automation (IFA) group is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in multi-platform operating systems and security implementations.In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing both Windows Server 2022 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and 9 environments. This role involves managing various layered applications such as enterprise software, middleware, and security tools across heterogeneous platforms, ensuring that they perform efficiently and securely in alignment with key initiatives driving towards Intel Foundry's success. You will bring expertise in automation and security hardening to streamline processes and enhance the overall security posture and efficiency of our multi-platform infrastructure.The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with experience managing complex infrastructure projects to achieve organizational goals. Success in this role requires adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Manage the full lifecycle of Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8/9 OS environments, including installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and security hardening across both platforms Deploy, configure, and maintain layered applications across Windows and Linux environments, enterprise software (e.g., Active Directory), and security applications (e.g., antivirus, firewalls, intrusion detection systems) Oversee integration and compatibility of layered applications, ensuring they operate seamlessly across Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8/9 environments while maintaining network and security standards Implement cross-platform automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline repetitive tasks, maintain layered applications, and improve system reliability across heterogeneous environments Apply security best practices for both Windows and Linux OS and layered applications, including patch management, vulnerability scanning, access control, and security compliance frameworks Conduct performance monitoring and tuning of both OS platforms and layered applications to ensure system responsiveness and minimize downtime across the infrastructure Troubleshoot complex OS and application-level issues across Windows and Linux environments, working cross-functionally to ensure minimal disruption to business operations Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and troubleshooting steps related to layered applications and multi-platform OS environments Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure compliance with company policies, data integrity, and optimal performance across the heterogeneous infrastructure Implement and maintain security monitoring tools and incident response procedures across both Windows and Linux platformsIdeal Candidate Must Demonstrate: Deep expertise with both Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8/9 environments, including cross-platform integration and management Strong knowledge of layered applications and integration within both Windows and Linux-based environments Advanced skills in cross-platform automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline multi-OS infrastructure management Strong understanding of security principles and the ability to apply these across Windows and Linux OS and application layers Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, STIG) across heterogeneous environments Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues across Windows and Linux OS and layered applicationsQualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline
5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with focus on Windows Server or Linux environments, including security implementations
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep expertise in both Windows Server 2022 and RHEL 8/9 environments, including configuration, tuning, and support for various layered applications across platforms
Proficiency in automation and scripting across multiple platforms, particularly with PowerShell, Python, and Bash to streamline OS and application management
Experience with security standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, STIG) and implementing security best practices for layered applications across Windows and Linux OS
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in diagnosing issues across heterogeneous OS environments, enterprise applications, and security tools
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and hybrid cloud infrastructure management
Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) for multi-platform environments
