The Role and Impact
Intel is seeking a System Software Architect to lead the development of cutting-edge system software that powers transformative technologies, platforms, and products. In this highly impactful role, you will define and shape the software architecture and technical direction that drives innovation across critical market segments. Your expertise will enable seamless interoperability of software components, provide scalable solutions, and ensure superior user and customer experiences. As a trusted technical advisor, you will engage with customers and collaborate with internal and external technologists to evaluate feasibility, influence designs, and prioritize development efforts. This role offers the chance to make a significant contribution to Intel's leadership in advanced computing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end system software architecture, including software structure, firmware, drivers, frameworks, cross-component interfaces, and interoperability protocols.
- Provide technical direction and pathfinding for software development and validation.

Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • 4 or more years of experience with system software architecture and development including:

- Demonstrated expertise in software interoperability, cross-component protocols, and interfaces.

- Proficiency in frameworks, drivers, and firmware development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience in customer-facing technical engagements, requirement gathering, and solution development.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $149,600.00-284,580.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Work Model for this Role
