Position
  • Our ideal Image Scientist is an key contributor performing data analysis, characterization, and trending. If you love analyzing GEOINT, developing and/or applying tools to provide astronomical insights, then you'll love Apogee and this position.

What You'll Do
  • perform analysis on astrophotography / astronomical imagery data, metadata, and systems in support of trade studies
  • provide system performance monitoring, verification, validation, and test (VV&T), and fault isolation.
  • work independently or lead small teams to generate and deliver study plans, VV&T plans
  • present final reports, and presentations to customers.

Desired Skills
  • Experience in: Astronomical Imaging, Image Science, Electro Optics, Signal Processing, MATLAB, Python, Systems Engineering, Testing, VV&T
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Imagery Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related STEM program
