Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working as part of a team? Sprague is looking for an Integrity Technician to join our Bronx Delivery Operations!
The Integrity Technician is an integral part of the day-to-day operations of our business. Some of your responsibilities will include vetting carriers who deliver our fuel oil, monitoring delivery procedures, as well as ensuring that our customers receive the product that they order in a safe and efficient manner.
Typical Duties of an Integrity Technician:
  • Investigate carrier reports regarding issues associated with deliveries made at customer locations. Identify mechanical problems and either assist in the repair or in the contractor referral process. Document and upload relevant photos of customerโ€™s equipment/site.
  • Provide field support at customer locations by monitoring deliveries to ensure issues have been resolved, and that the customer safely receives product.
  • Provide field clean up support for spills that occur at customer locations.
  • Assist in conducting carrier truck inspections to ensure the integrity of deliveries.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to the facility and yard.
Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Ability to navigate through the five boroughs, Westchester County, Long Island and New Jersey
  • Available to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of plumbing preferred
  • Understanding of fuel truck delivery system helpful
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good communication/interpersonal skills
Physical Demands:
  • Frequently climbing-stairs, ladders, grasping/handling, reaching forward and overhead, standing, walking, balancing
  • Occasionally bending/stooping, crawling, kneeling, twisting, squatting
  • Frequently lifting/ carrying weights up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 51 โ€“ 100 plus lbs.
  • Frequently exposed to dust, fumes, odors, solvents, petroleum products

The rate for this position is $23 to $25 per hour based on experience.
