A Great Place to Lead and Grow

Marker is a third-generation, family-owned commercial construction firm rooted in Ohio since 1956. We've built our reputation by focusing on what really matters - our people and the lasting partnerships we build with our clients and communities.

Our work spans universities, multi-family housing, industrial, and civic projects - but behind every build is a team that cares about doing quality work and showing up for each other. We believe in paying attention to the moments that matter - celebrating wins, recognizing life events, and being there for each other when it counts. These moments keep our culture strong and connected.

At Marker, experienced professionals have the freedom to lead with integrity and the support to make a real impact. We encourage open communication, collaboration, and fresh ideas that help us get better every day. You'll have the opportunity to mentor the next generation, strengthen client relationships, and help shape how we grow.

If you're ready to lead challenging projects, grow your team, and be part of a company that respects your expertise, Marker could be the right fit for you. We'd love to tell you more about what we're building.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee job cost reports and provide accurate monthly cost projections.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and scopes of work for clarity and alignment with project goals.
  • Support preconstruction efforts by reviewing estimates and providing input on project approach and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Contribute to business development by nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying future work opportunities.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven success managing complex commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and best practices.
  • Skilled in project management software including MS Office, Procore, and Primavera P6.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.

Primary Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
