Job description

Trade31 is looking for a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and seeing a project through from start to finish. In this role, you’ll be involved from early budgeting and planning through final delivery, working closely with industry professionals to keep things moving and get the job done right. You’ll play a key role in each project’s success while building strong, lasting relationships along the way.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own projects from pursuit through closeout, including estimating, project execution, and client management
  • Review plans and specifications to develop accurate budgets, scopes, and proposals
  • Lead subcontractor and supplier bidding, leveling, and buyout processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors to drive repeat business
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall financial performance
  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, and procurement to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Coordinate closely with field teams to resolve issues and maintain quality standards
  • Lead project meetings, communication, and reporting with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for additional work, change orders, and future projects
  • Drive project closeout, ensuring all documentation is complete and the client experience is strong
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5–10 years of construction experience (Project Engineer, Assistant PM, or similar path)
  • Experience managing projects with direct ownership of scope, schedule, and budget
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Experience with Viewpoint, Procore, and scheduling software (Phoenix or similar) preferred
  • Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company and site-specific safety policies and procedures
