Nightwing is seeking a cleared and experienced Testing and Integrations Specialist in the Fairfax area. The right candidate will serve as a member of a telecommunications systems integration team performing a wide variety of complex activities associated with building/assembling, testing and integrating legacy and next generation telecommunications systems.


Required Skills:


Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment which includes Cisco and Juniper Routers, Firewalls, and Switches
Use of various test equipment to include JDSU FST-2802, Cable Eye tester, multi-meter, Firebird 6000A, Digital Lightwave
Ability to upgrade and downgrade telecommunications devices by using various Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP), File Transfer Protocols (FTP), and Terminal Emulator programs
Ability to implement test plans to both bench test and system test equipment and system components
Interpret Interconnect (IC) Drawings and wiring schematics of the equipment and cables
Fabricate and run CAT6 cables and other various data cables
Keep abreast of basic safety practices

JNCIA, CCNA, COMPTIA Security +, or other industry recognized certifications
Experience with Customer Systems
Experience working in an overseas field environment
