Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations that include evaluation of mental status, current psychiatric symptoms and functioning, and other relevant health histories.
  • Administer treatment plans in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Deliver cutting-edge treatments such as TMS and Esketamine, while monitoring patient responses for optimal care adjustments.
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and symptom management strategies.
  • Provide brief psychotherapeutic interventions in conjunction with evaluation and management services in accordance with standardized procedures.
  • Maintain timely and accurate charting of clinical encounters in an Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Accurately code clinical encounters with CPT and diagnosis codes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum one year of post education experience in outpatient or inpatient settings 
  • All candidates must have a valid and current, unrestricted, California NP and Furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s)
  • Candidate must hold a valid degree, Master’s degree (or higher), from an accredited institution.
  • Candidate must have a valid California DEA registration
  • Candidate must have ANCC PMHNP Board Certification
  • Autonomous practice ability
  • Child, adolescent, or adult experience
  • Proficiency with EHR
  • Telehealth experience and a high comfort level of working with technology
