Job Summary

St. Francis Borgia Grade School, a vibrant Catholic school community in the heart of Washington, is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Aide for our Grade School. A Catholic Classroom Aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a Christ-centered, academically excellent learning environment that fosters the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional growth of each student. The instructional aid will assist in implementing lesson plans, providing individualized support to students, and maintaining a classroom atmosphere aligned with the mission and vision of the school, as outlined by the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).

Job Responsibilities

Faith Formation and Integration:

Model and promote Catholic values in all interactions.

Support integration of faith-based principles in classroom activities.

Help create a respectful, inclusive environment reflecting Catholic teachings.

Assist in liturgies, prayer services, and religious celebrations.

Collaborate with the teacher to implement lesson plans and activities.
