Integrated Wellness Solutions information

What is integrated wellness solutions?

Integrated Wellness Solutions are comprehensive programs or services designed to promote overall health and well-being by combining multiple aspects of wellness, such as physical, mental, emotional, and sometimes even financial health. These solutions often include a mix of healthcare services, fitness programs, nutrition counseling, mental health support, and lifestyle coaching, tailored to meet individual or organizational needs. The goal is to provide a holistic approach to wellness that improves quality of life, enhances productivity, and reduces healthcare costs. Integrated Wellness Solutions are commonly used in workplaces, healthcare organizations, and community programs.

How does an integrated wellness solutions professional typically collaborate with other departments within a healthcare organization?

Integrated Wellness Solutions professionals often work closely with departments such as primary care, mental health, nutrition, and physical therapy to provide holistic care plans for clients. They regularly attend interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care, share insights, and ensure that wellness programs align with both organizational goals and individual patient needs. Effective communication and collaboration are essential in this role, as it involves synthesizing input from diverse experts to create comprehensive and personalized wellness strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an integrated wellness solutions specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Integrated Wellness Solutions Specialist, you need a background in health promotion, wellness program design, and a relevant degree such as health sciences, public health, or wellness coaching. Familiarity with digital health platforms, wellness assessment tools, and certifications like Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) or Health Coach Certification are often required. Strong interpersonal communication, motivational skills, and cultural competence help professionals engage diverse clients and foster healthy behavior changes. These skills ensure holistic, effective wellness strategies that improve client outcomes and organizational health initiatives.

Job description

Clinical Lead — LPC

Full-Time W-2 | Hybrid | Springfield, VA
Expected Annual Compensation: $85,000–$90,000

STIW is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead who genuinely enjoys teaching, developing clinicians, and creating a strong clinical culture.

This position combines a reduced caseload of approximately 15 completed client sessions per week with clinical supervision and oversight of Supervisees

This Role Is for You If...

  • You are passionate about teaching and developing clinicians.

  • You're an experienced supervisor who can assess what a clinician needs and adjust your approach accordingly.

  • You're naturally curious and use thoughtful questions to strengthen clinical reasoning and self-awareness.

  • You're direct and supportive, providing corrective feedback while leaving clinicians clear about expectations and next steps.

  • You value structure, accountability, workflows, and follow-through.

  • You know how to balance teaching, consultation, reflection, and clinician autonomy.

  • You're collaborative and want to help build a positive, growth-oriented clinical culture.

  • You have strong documentation and treatment-planning skills and understand medical necessity in an insurance-based practice.

  • You exercise sound judgment and know what you can handle independently and what needs to be escalated.

This Role Is Not for You If...
  • You're newly licensed or relatively new to clinical supervision.

  • You're looking for your first opportunity to learn how to supervise.

  • You're primarily attracted to the compensation or reduced caseload.

  • You avoid difficult conversations or struggle with direct feedback.

  • You prefer working independently rather than developing and collaborating with a clinical team.

  • You dislike structure, accountability, documentation standards, or established workflows.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected annual compensation: $85,000–$90,000, based on experience, qualifications, productivity, and fulfillment of clinical and supervisory responsibilities.

This is a W-2 position with compensation based on the role's combined clinical and supervisory responsibilities, rather than a traditional fixed salary.

Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, and professional development support.

Compensation:

$85,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities:What You'll Do
  • Maintain approximately 15 completed client sessions per week.

  • Provide weekly individual supervision to assigned Residents in Counseling.

  • Review progress notes, treatment plans, and termination documentation.

  • Support strong documentation, medical necessity, case conceptualization, and clinical decision-making.

  • Facilitate peer case consultation.

  • Provide clinical consultation and support when needed.

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director on higher-risk, ethical, or significant clinical concerns.

  • Help create a clinical environment centered on learning, structure, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Our clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed, attachment-oriented care with an appreciation for the relationship between the mind, body, nervous system, and emotional well-being. We're looking for a Clinical Supervisor who can both practice from this lens and help developing clinicians deepen their understanding of it.

  • Master's degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field.

  • Active, unrestricted Virginia LPC license.

  • Meets Virginia Board of Counseling requirements to supervise Residents in Counseling.

  • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience; 4+ preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision and developing clinicians.

  • Strong clinical judgment, case conceptualization, assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills, with the ability to support clinician development, clinical performance, client retention, and productivity.

  • Strong clinical documentation proficiency, including the ability to write and evaluate the quality of progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation.

  • Strong understanding of medical necessity and experience working within an insurance-based outpatient practice.

  • Significant experience assessing and treating trauma and attachment-related concerns.

  • Ability to provide clear, direct, supportive feedback while maintaining accountability and psychological safety.

About Company

We provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and holistic care for individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, burnout, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
