Battlefield Acupuncture Center in Cortez, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our full-time team. This role is essential in delivering integrative wellness solutions through traditional Chinese medicine practices. The work setting is in a modern outpatient office solely focused on providing personalized care to our patients. Our practice environment is designed to be calming and encouraging, setting the stage for effective healing. As part of our close-knit team, you will collaborate daily with other practitioners, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care. Our regular business hours are structured to support a flexible schedule, with time blocks available:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Tuesday and Thursday: 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

As an Acupuncturist at Battlefield Acupuncture Center, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Conducting detailed patient assessments to identify individual health needs and challenges.
• Developing and implementing personalized acupuncture treatment plans tailored to address specific ailments.
• Administering acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine techniques, such as cupping and moxibustion, based on evidence-based practices.
• Providing guidance on lifestyle changes and wellness practices to enhance overall health and prevent future issues.
• Engaging with our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.

Our patients include individuals seeking relief from chronic pain, stress management, and preventative care through natural therapies. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
• A valid state license and certification to practice acupuncture.
• Strong understanding of Traditional Chinese Medical principles, including diagnosis and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster a welcoming approach to patient care.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. Experience in a team-oriented practice or outpatient setting will be advantageous. Familiarity with a range of modalities, such as herbal medicine or nutritional counseling, would be considered a plus.

We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from USD 60 to 80, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, practitioners are eligible for commission opportunities. Our benefits package includes:
