Job description

Job Description Are you passionate about the chance to bring your extensive technical experience to manage development team through complex, full life cycle implementation in a world class company? The Corporate and Commercial Engineering Organization within Thomson Reuters is looking to add a strong CPQ Lead Solution Engineer to a well-established global engineering team. This position requires someone who is a passionate about technology, a strong team player, and is comfortable working with a variety of people and technology stacks. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Engineering strategy, planning, design, and implementation of Conga configure, price and quote (CPQ), Conga Turbo Price, Conga Digital Commerce, and PROS Pricing solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership by establishing best practices, enforcing quality standards, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members to drive high performance.

  • Lead technical research, prototyping, and solution evaluation to recommend optimal tools and architectures, while staying current with updates in Salesforce and Conga.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, technical leads, architects, and third parties to deliver solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, delivering timely remediation and ensuring system stability and scalability.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation and deployment.

  • Prepare solution development estimates and technical planning, identifying dependencies and risks.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of CRM technical experience, including but limited to 4+ years of hands‑on Conga CPQ customization and configuration along with AI-driven solutions (Agentforce or similar agent‑based technologies), with expertise integrating Conga CPQ, Turbo Price, Digital Commerce, and/or PROS Pricing to streamline sales workflows and improve productivity.

  • Knowledge of Conga product configuration management, pricing management, and workflow approval processes, including price dimensions and rulesets, with AI-assisted optimization and seamless integration with Salesforce.

  • Strong technical knowledge of product modeling, pricing, quotation, contract lifecycle, and data migration, including CPQ approvals and discounts.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and integration tools such as Dell Boomi, Apigee, and Informatica, with exposure to integrating AI services and APIs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A good grasp of technical and quality standards, best practices, and guidelines.

  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

  • Knowledge of Product Trials, subscriptions, and Commerce is a plus, especially when combined with AI-driven personalization, recommendation engines, and intelligent sales assistants.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $118,400 USD - $219,800 USD. For Ontario, Canada, the base compensation range for this role is $140,600 CAD - $190,600 CAD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
