Senior Integration Engineer in  GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

  • Possess strong expertise in NAS and Cloud storage technologies
  • Have extensive experience with Isilon/PowerScale
  • Experience with VAST Data storage arrays
  • Skilled in performance tuning of Isilon/PowerScale/VAST clusters
  • Deep understanding of network protocols such as SMB, NFS, S3
  • Experience with 3rd party file migration tools, e.g. Komprise, StorageX, EMCopy, etc.
  • Experience performing large scale file migrations between storage platforms is a must
  • Possess automation, scripting, and programing skills with
    • Python
    • Ansible
    • Infrastructure as code (i.e. Terraform)
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment
  • Experience with Containers - RedHat OpenShift
  • Linux and Windows file systems


 

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technology related field or equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 7 years of experience in an IT Role. Experience or background in C++ Tools and Release Engineering preferred.. Other CCNA and MCP certification preferred. Position Purpose: The integration engineer is responsible for managing the movement and consolidation of data within and between applications and organizations. Provide data securely, with regulatory compliance, in the format and timeframe needed. Lower cost and complexity of managing solutions by developing shared models and interfaces. Identify meaningful events and automatically trigger alerts and actions. Support business intelligence, analytics, master data management, and operational efficiency efforts.

  18. Oversee and participate in coding the transfer of messages and files .
  19. Proactively monitor the integrations and have a recovery plan for failed transmissions .
  20. Ability to restore and replay failed transmissions .

  4. CCNA Certification.
  5. ITIL v3 Foundation certification desired.
  6. Virtualization experience, specifically with VMware Horizon View, a strong plus.
  7. Microsoft Certified Professional a plus.
