Job Summary

Lead Product Analyst responsible for translating complex engineering problem statements into detailed, test-ready requirements across CAx platforms. Acts as a bridge between engineering, manufacturing, quality, IT, and product teams to drive alignment, adoption, and delivery of engineering solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Drive engineering problem statements into detailed, test-ready requirements by proactively eliciting needs from Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT stakeholders.

Facilitate complex technical and cross-functional discussions to align on trade-offs involving cost, usability, compliance, and architecture.

Translate engineering pain points and system opportunities into:

User Stories

Features

Defects

Enablers

Support requirements with:

Process Flows

Interface Contracts

Data Mapping

Mock-ups and Functional Design Guidance

Evaluate requests for technical feasibility and architectural alignment across CAx tools including ECAD, MCAD, Simulation, and Visualization.

Partner with Lead Engineers, Product Owners/Managers, and Software Engineers to ensure solution viability.

Perform Fit-Gap Analysis between current engineering tools, integrations, and workflows versus future-state requirements.

Lead a globally distributed squad by:

Setting priorities and scope

Communicating roadmap and vision for Engineering Solutions

Aligning delivery with engineering value and platform strategy

Educate partners on CAx capabilities, integrations, and constraints to improve clarity and adoption.

Drive resolution of production issues impacting engineering productivity, including root-cause analysis, impact assessment, and mitigation planning.

Partner with Product and Platform Product Managers to:

Maintain deep understanding of engineering processes and priorities

Reconcile competing stakeholder demands into a single backlog

Identify, manage, and resolve cross-squad and platform dependencies, collaborating closely with Technical Product Owners (TPOs) and peer Product Analysts.
