This role provides an opportunity to help transform how projects are planned, coordinated, and executed through the application of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and emerging digital construction technologies. Working closely with operations, estimating, engineering, and project teams, the successful candidate will support project delivery while developing expertise in digital construction processes and technology-enabled solutions. 

Here's how an Integrated Construction Technology Specialist for PCL Industrial Services, Inc. contributes to our team:

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of BIM and VDC strategies on pursuits and projects.
  • Participate in model coordination, clash detection, and design review processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans and project technology strategies.
  • Create and maintain construction logistics, site utilization, sequencing, and visualization models.
  • Support project teams in leveraging digital tools to improve safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings with design consultants, trade partners, and project stakeholders.
  • Assist with model-based planning, constructability reviews, and project execution workflows.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and estimating teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support pursuit activities including presentations, interviews, visualizations, and technology strategies.
  • Assist with implementation of field technology and digital construction workflows.
  • Contribute to project startup planning and project execution strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery through technology adoption and innovation.
  • Evaluate and support implementation of emerging construction technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 3-8 years of experience in construction, engineering, VDC, estimating, project controls, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and project delivery processes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Interest in digital construction, innovation, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership potential.
  • Experience with preferred: Autodesk Revis, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construciton Cloud, BIM 360, AutoCAD,
