Salary range (but not limited to):

94,200 - 115,200

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Whatyou'lldo here:

  • Accept, reject, endorse,renewor cancel policies following Intact underwriting guidelines and procedures, applicablelawsand regulations and subject to authority level as specified by underwriting manager.

  • Develop business opportunities and long-term meaningful relationships with our broker partners by providing legendary service.

  • Use negotiating skills tomaintainhealthy relationships within and outside the company.

  • Answer inquiries and make recommendations to brokers and underwriters through verbal and written correspondence.

  • Participate in broker visits, industryfunctionsand marketing events in support of broker relationship development.

  • Review underwriting reports and make recommendations asrequired.

  • Communicate changes related to product pricing, underwritingguidelinesand new products.

  • Support and mentor team members within Specialty Solutions as well as other divisions at Intact.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5years experiencein Specialty Linesunderwriting includingbut not limitedtoCorporate,Financial, Construction,Technologyand Entertainment, Liability,Energy, Property, Agriculture,Transportationand/orBusiness Development.

  • Solutions-oriented with provenanalyticalapproach, sound judgment, and effective complex risk management driving profitable growth.

  • Builds professional, long-term relationships with brokers, customers, and internal partners.

  • Proactive communicator whoidentifiesneeds and negotiates tailored broker solutions.

  • Managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines whilemaintainingquality under pressure.

  • Demonstrates critical thinking, respects diverse perspectives, and collaborates cross-functionally as an effective team contributor.
