We need an experienced Insurance Agent to join our team! As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling home, auto, and condo insurance policies to wonderful people. This is full time and in office and the ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, love people, be competitive, be teachable, easily able to communicate & interact with others, have an outgoing personality & be a self-starter. Personal Lines or Property and Casualty Insurance license required before starting. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional with the potential to advance rapidly within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand the agency by calling, texting and emailing 30-45 potential customers daily
  • Prospect for new business through leads, networking, involvement in local community events, & personal contacts
  • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
  • Track and identify areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to team success

Qualifications:

  • Valid Personal Lines or Property and Casualty License
  • Previous experience in insurance a must
  • Ability to sell sucesfully over-the-phone
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Demonstrated outbound phone sales background
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Positive attitude

Compensation:

  • $43k base salary plus commission (avg. first year agents making $73k-95/yr)
  • Additional performance-based bonuses and incentives
