Commercial Insurance Billing Specialist
Stuart (Martin County), Florida | Full-Time

We are currently seeking a Commercial Insurance Billing Specialist to join our team in our Stuart, Florida office. If you have experience with insurance billing, enjoy solving problems, and thrive in a detail-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
• Submit commercial insurance claims accurately and on time through the appropriate clearinghouse.
• Review authorizations, eligibility, and supporting documentation to ensure claims are complete and compliant.
• Monitor claim status and reimbursement to ensure timely payment.
• Research, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims.
• Process denial and reconsideration requests as needed.
• Post commercial insurance payments accurately to patient accounts.
• Reconcile payments with billing records and investigate discrepancies.
• Work aging reports to identify outstanding balances and resolve unpaid claims.
• Maintain accurate billing documentation and records.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing questions and payment issues.
• Stay current on payer requirements, contractual agreements, and billing regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous commercial insurance billing experience preferred.
• Home health billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PDGM billing procedures preferred.
• Understanding of commercial insurance reimbursement processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with computer systems and billing software.
