What does an insurance verification specialist do?

An Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for confirming patients' insurance coverage and benefits before medical services are provided. They communicate with insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, coverage details, co-payments, deductibles, and pre-authorization requirements.
