Job description

Summary

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to support and manage the organization's information technology infrastructure, cybersecurity program, and end-user computing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure and reliable IT systems, administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, supporting cybersecurity compliance initiatives, and providing technical leadership for infrastructure projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of systems supporting both corporate operations and federal contracting requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, cloud infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Manage Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related cloud services.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology improvements
  • Support and maintain cybersecurity programs aligned with NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirements.
  • Manage access controls, endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, system security documentation, and user awareness training.
  • Support audits, assessments, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
  • Configure and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPN technologies.
  • Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Coordinate with internet service providers and telecommunications vendors.
  • Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support for employees.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, hardware, and software deployments.
  • Support desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral troubleshooting.
  • Ensure timely resolution of help desk requests and technology-related issues.
  • Lead IT projects including infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, software implementations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and consultants to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, documentation, and status reporting.
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, software licensing, and maintenance agreements.
  • Assist with IT budgeting, technology planning, and lifecycle management of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible IT experience.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with enterprise networking, virtualization, and endpoint management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA Security+, Network+, A+, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience supporting NIST 800-171, CMMC, or federal contractor compliance requirements.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization.
  • Experience managing SharePoint, Intune, and cloud-based collaboration platforms.
  • Project management experience.
