Full-Time Customer Service Floater 
Hiring Range: $20.00 - $21.97 per hour

Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking a Customer Service Floater to support front-desk and client contact operations across multiple KMHS locations. In this role, you will provide consistent, high-quality customer service by stepping in where coverage is needed, supporting client scheduling, registration, and communication. This position is well suited for someone who is adaptable, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides a positive first impression of Kitsap Mental Health Services to clients and visitors by extending a cordial welcome and assisting with needs.
  • Maintains and schedules appointments following agency scheduling policies.
  • Performs patient registration tasks to facilitate customer service. (e.g. schedules patient appointments, takes phone calls, register and update demographics for client accounts).
  • Ensure positive agency communication by answering telephone calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.  Return messages left on voicemail system.
  • Screens calls, takes messages, and provides information. Answers questions regarding client appointments.
  • Update client’s billing information. Process payments and co-payments.
  • Maintain and manage clients records
  • Keeps the lobby entrance tidy (e.g. picks up trash). Alerts housekeeping or maintenance of more extensive needs.
  • Provides direction and wayfinding assistance to clients and visitors
  • In addition to the above, any other responsibilities appropriate to the position and not specifically listed in the job description.


Minimum Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum two years of job-related experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE: Coursework in medical/psychiatric terminology.

Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
