About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team in Woburn, MA, and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, oversee clinical operations on your assigned unit, and support nursing staff in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with facility policies, physician orders, and safe nursing practices
Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing support staff on assigned units
Administer medications and treatments; monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions
Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and update care plans
Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders
Perform wound care, treatments, and skilled nursing interventions as ordered
Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and leadership
Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers
Provide hands-on clinical care including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, suctioning, and colostomy care
Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety and quality of care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Participate in care conferences and care plan updates
Promote teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication
Assist with state surveys and inspections as needed
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing (RN) program
Current, unencumbered State of Massachusetts RN license
Current CPR certification (ACLS preferred, not required)
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required)
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities with professionalism and tact
