Position Summary

Full-time | W2 | Base Pay + Incentives + Full Benefits

Join a fast-paced branch where you'll grow your sales career by helping customers find the right insurance and financial solutions. Build meaningful relationships, uncover new opportunities, and drive business through community engagement and referrals-all while earning rewards for your success. This is an onsite position located in the Portage Branch Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales, Retention & Revenue Growth: Own the sale and ongoing service of ACGbranded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a hightraffic ACG branch; uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, grow ACG's insurance portfolio, overcome objections, negotiate effectively, close sales, and meet or exceed individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations.
  • Insurance Reviews & Policy Execution: Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients, respond to inquiries with professionalism and urgency, and support high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
  • Prospecting, Community Engagement & Referrals: Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, develop new business opportunities, and identify crosssell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services to maximize overall member value.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
  • Insurance experience is helpful-but not required.
  • We provide training to help you get confident in the role

  • Prospecting & Business Development: Proven ability to generate new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, networking, and other businessdevelopment efforts.
  • Communication & Customer Mindset: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customerfirst mindset and confidence in guiding sales conversations.
  • Sales Technology & Tools: Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

  • Work in a temperature controlled AAA branch location; this is an onsite position
  • Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends
  • Some travel to local events may be required

  • Base pay (non-exempt)
  • Typical Starting Earnings $55,000 - $70,000 (First-year, based on performance)
  • Additional Compensation

    • Processed 30 and 60 days of employment
  • Supplemental Pay for six months:
    • $200/week during months 0-2
    • $150/week during months 3-4
    • $100/week during months 5-6

Time Off & Leave

  • Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment.
    • Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements.
    • Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month.
  • Paid Holidays:
    • Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
    • Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules.
  • Paid leave programs, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
