Job description


CentiMark Corporation is the nation’s largest commercial & industrial roofing contractor with 100 offices and 3,500 employees. We have an immediate full-time opening for a Construction Safety Specialist in Rayville, LA.  This position is open to varying levels of experience and offers career growth based on performance.

This role is paying $85k - 105k, based on education & experience.

Job Summary:

Frequent travel (80% - 100% overnight) to various job and office locations throughout the assigned region in order to conduct:

  • On-site safety inspections
  • Employee training
  • Claim investigations
  • Overnight traveling to include out-of-town stays required Safety Specialists are a part of the Operations & Risk Department and report directly to the Group Safety Manager.  This position involves the Safety and Risk management of multiple office locations and crews working in the assigned Region.


Candidate Qualifications:

  • Candidate MUST be a CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), or CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) - Required
  • Bachelor Degree in Safety or 1-3 years Safety experience - Required
  • Osha 30 or authorized 10/30 hour trainer
  • First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Fall Protection Training
  • Competent Person Certification
  • Ability to Pass a One Source/FCA Background
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
  • Strong investigative and communication skills
  • Superb problem-solving skills
