  • Experience reviewing contractor bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor performance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Proven ability to coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing the planning and execution of retail construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with established quality and safety standards. The Project Manager partners with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, general contractors, and field teams to coordinate all phases of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage multiple retail construction projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to approved scope, schedule, and budget.
  2. Develop, maintain, and communicate project plans, schedules, budgets, and key milestones.
  3. Coordinate project activities with architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, and cross-functional business partners.
  4. Review contractor bids, proposals, and pricing to support project award recommendations.
  5. Administer construction contracts, including change orders, payment applications, and project closeout documentation.
  6. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve schedule, budget, and execution issues.
  7. Lead recurring project status meetings and provide clear updates to project stakeholders.
  8. Ensure compliance with company construction standards, safety requirements, and applicable building codes.
  9. Track project financial performance, forecasts, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  10. Travel to project sites as required (up to 25%).

  • 7+ years of commercial or retail construction project management experience.
