Job Summary

Director of Marketing and Product Development will lead strategy, development, and execution of Chubb's group life and disability product portfolio. This role provides leadership for product innovation, competitive positioning, market analysis, and go-to-market execution across voluntary and employer-paid group life and disability benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the group and worksite supplemental benefits market and a strong understanding of how life and disability products fit within the broader employee benefits landscape. This leader will partner across the enterprise to support product strategy, distribution, implementation, training, and ongoing portfolio management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Execute Competitive Analysis & Product Strategy - Own market intelligence, competitive benchmarking, and strategic recommendations to strengthen Chubb Benefit's position in the group life and disability marketplace
  • Drive Product Development and Innovation – Lead the design, enhancement, and launch of innovative, competitive, and profitable group life and disability products that meet market needs and support business growth
  • Oversee Product Positioning and Marketing Support –Develop product messaging, positioning, and collateral to support sales, distribution, and market differentiation
  • Partner with Distribution and Sales Enablement - Collaborate with distribution, underwriting, operations, and other stakeholders to support large opportunities, custom benefit solutions, and effective sales execution
  • Assist With Product Training and Onboarding - Establish product training strategies, onboarding materials, and ongoing education to ensure internal teams and distribution partners are equipped for success
  • Support Product Implementation and Governance – Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth product implementation, alignment with operational requirements and consistency across product processes
  • Represent Chubb in the Marketplace - Partner with leadership to reinforce Chubb's value proposition and represent the organization externally with professionalism and market credibility
  • Provide Leadership and Direction - Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic leader, helping guide priorities, influence decisions, and mentor team members as needed

  • Familiarity with reviewing, interpreting, and drafting life and health policy forms and state filings
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
