LPNs only!

  • Assess patients and dispense accurate medication amounts.
  • Maintain accurate medication records to comply with DEA regulations.
  • Enter verbal orders in electronic record.
  • Log medication discrepancies as needed.
  • Update records regarding certain prescriptions and OTC medications that patients are taking.
  • Provide brief nursing assessments on new intakes.
  • Administer TB skin tests annually.
  • Perform monthly nurse assessments on all patients and any new intakes.
  • Calibrate pumps on a weekly basis.
  • Review patient charts for current monthly activity and document.
  • Insure nursing station is properly maintained.

Job Requirements:

  • Weekday hours 4:30am - 1:30 pm; Work every other Saturday 5:30 am - 9:30 am
  • Current State of Michigan License required (LPN's only).
  • Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
  • Key competencies include: analytical, nursing assessment skills, problem solving, diligence, planning, excellent communication skills, collaborative style (team player a must)
