Job description

Are you ready to take your dental hygiene career to the next level? If you’re passionate about patient care and looking for a meaningful career that goes beyond the everyday, this is your chance to serve with purpose. We’re looking for a Dental Hygienist to join the Navy healthcare team as a Hospital Corpsman (HM) specializing in dental hygiene. This is a full-time, active-duty role where you’ll directly support the health and readiness of service members and their families worldwide.

This is a Full-Time, In-Person Position (Not Remote) Specialty: Dental Hygiene (Hospital Corpsman) Starting Annual Compensation: $63,000 to $99,000 (Based on Experience & Location)

The U.S. Navy offers an exciting and impactful opportunity for Dental Hygienists to work in modern dental clinics across the country and around the world—including California, Illinois, Florida, Washington, Hawaii, Virginia, and more. Your assignments could take you to new and diverse locations, providing professional and personal growth opportunities!

What You’ll Do: As a Navy Dental Hygienist, you’ll provide high-quality care under the supervision of a Navy Dental Officer. Your duties include: - Infection control and chairside support - Dental assessments and treatment planning - Radiograph exposure and processing - Periodontal therapy (scaling and root planing) - Patient education on prevention, nutrition, and behavior modification - Application of fluoride, sealants, and other therapeutic agents - Appliance and prosthesis cleaning - Supporting mission readiness through excellent oral healthcare

You’ll gain hands-on experience in modern clinics, both in the U.S. and abroad.

  • Willing to enlist as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy
