Job description

The Licensed Insurance Support Specialist will provide expert licensed assistance to the sales team and customers, ensuring smooth and compliant insurance processes. This role requires a valid Property & Casualty license and preferably some prior experience in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be organized, customer-oriented, and knowledgeable about insurance products and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide licensed support to the sales team by assisting with quoting and servicing  Property & Casualty insurance products.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource to customers, answering questions 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other insurance professionals as needed.
  • Support customer retention efforts by providing timely and effective service.
  • Stay current with industry changes, licensing requirements, and product knowledge.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support agency operations.

Qualifications

  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
  • Prior experience in an insurance agency or related role (preferred).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements.
