\n We are actively seeking experienced High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors to join our team as independent contractors (1099). This opportunity is ideal for seasoned inspectors who understand the expectations of and the underwriting requirements of high\-net\-worth carriers. You'll have the flexibility to work in your local market, build supplemental income, or scale this into your primary source of revenue.<\/span>

\n As a Field Consultant you will be responsible for independently managing and completing on\-site High Value Property Surveys. This role is great for someone that is proactive, resourceful and driven. It requires strong construction knowledge, sketching skills, and the ability to professionally engage with homeowners and insurance agents.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n

\n Position Details:<\/span><\/i><\/b>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Professionally interact over the phone, via email and in\-person with homeowners and insurance agents.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Schedule and conduct comprehensive on\-site inspections of high value residential properties as per carrier specific guidelines and procedures.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Accurately document custom construction features, high\-end finishes, and unique architectural elements.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Capture detailed measurements, photographs, and site observations.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Identify potential underwriting concerns, hazards, and loss exposures.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Develop accurate replacement cost estimates reflective of high\-quality materials and craftsmanship.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Submit complete, timely web\-based reports that meet carrier\-specific guidelines.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Communicate the information gathered during the on\-site inspection in Loss Control 360 accessed through the Signature website.<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n

\n <\/div>\n
\n We are specifically seeking professionals with:<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Direct experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Background in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or high\-end home appraisals<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Experience estimating replacement costs for high value residential properties<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Proficiency with diagramming software such as Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or similar tools<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Excellent communication skills when working with high\-net\-worth homeowners and insurance agents<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Strong time management and ability to work independently<\/span>
\n <\/div>\n
\n Experience in insurance adjusting, construction management, real estate appraisal, or luxury home building is highly valued.<\/i><\/span><\/span>

\n Prior underwriting experience is desirable.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Prior inspection experience on residential homes is desirable.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Loss control experience desirable.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Strong oral and written communication skills<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Professionalism is key<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Construction experience desired, but not required.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n BA or BS degree desired, but not required.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n A late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n High speed internet, Digital Camera or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater, measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel.<\/span><\/span>
