About the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role
As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician, you'll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road. This field-based role is perfect for skilled technicians who enjoy independence and variety in their work. You'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service when needed.
Geared up with your own, fully equipped company service truck, top-tier tools, and a supportive team that values your skill, drive and dedication, you'll tackle new challenges every day and take pride in delivering safe, reliable and efficient service that keeps America moving.
Where You'll Make an Impact
  • Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
  • Handle emergency road service calls with confidence and urgency.
  • Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems - everything that keeps a fleet running strong.
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, to identify and fix issues fast.
  • Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right.
  • Road test vehicles to ensure every repair meets top-quality standards.
  • Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry-standard repair times.
  • Work with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
  • Take ownership of a company-issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring safety compliance.
