THE MISSION:
The Inspector Packer plays a key role in supporting the achievement of Setterstix's business objectives by:
• Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:
  • Print sticks according to customer requirements and SOP

Pack and inspect cartons in accordance withCompany procedures (For example, no sticks down the sides or orientedincorrectly in the carton, carton "full" to ensure no shift of contents whensealed, carton & flaps square when placed on the sealer line).
• Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.
• Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing.
• Comply with all Company Safety requirements including:
• Adhere to Company "Food Safety & Quality" System: Good Manufacturing Practices & HACCP with special emphasis on attire, sanitation, security, documentation.
• Understand the Packing Line (shaker, hopper, switches, cleaning) process.

• Willing to reach, bend, squat, and lift to 50 lbs.
• Willing to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job.
