Job description

Summary: The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking a Field Contractor Liaison to support the Georgia Housing Recovery & Rehousing Program (GA HRRP). This field-based role is critical to ensuring construction activities meet quality standards, safety regulations, and program requirements. The Liaison will serve as the bridge between project leadership and contractors in the field, conducting regular site visits, performing quality control inspections, and reinforcing compliance with construction protocols, safety policies, and project expectations.

Location: Griffin, GA

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the on-site point of contact between project leadership and contractors.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor work progress, verify adherence to construction specifications, and perform quality control inspections.
  • Ensure contractor compliance with program protocols, safety guidelines (including OSHA), and site-specific requirements.
  • Communicate construction procedures, site rules, and program policies to contractors and subcontractors.
  • Document site observations, contractor performance, safety practices, and any non-compliance issues.
  • Assist with contractor onboarding and orientation related to field safety and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and escalate potential delays, safety violations, or quality concerns to project leadership.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, construction managers, and program teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate records related to inspections, safety briefings, and contractor correspondence.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in field-based construction oversight, contractor coordination, or quality control inspections.

  • Familiarity with construction methods, site safety regulations (OSHA), and quality assurance best practices.
  • Experience in disaster recovery, housing rehabilitation, or government-funded programs is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with contractors, construction crews, and internal teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfort using field tracking or inspection software/tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required; proof of insurance may be required.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
