Day to day as an AI, Data & Innovation Manager
As the AI, Data & Innovation Manager at WWC Engineering, you will spearhead the enterprise strategy for artificial intelligence, data governance, and advanced analytics, driving business enablement across the organization. Your focus will not be on deep technical model development but rather on ensuring that WWC comprehensively understands its information assets and governs them with integrity. Your leadership in this role will be pivotal in shaping the way WWC leverages data and innovation to meet evolving customer needs and achieve excellence in the engineering industry.
Are you the AI, Data & Innovation Manager we're looking for?
To excel as the AI, Data & Innovation Manager, candidates should possess an associate or bachelor's degree in technology, data, business, or a related field, along with 8-10 years of experience in technology, innovation, or data strategy roles. A strong understanding of business processes, data flows, and the technology utilized in engineering, survey, and environmental consulting is essential for this position. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in directing data governance initiatives and facilitating AI adoption, as well as experience with research and development or innovation intake programs. The role will interface with the IT Manager to ensure that data governance and AI initiatives align with infrastructure, security and technology lifecycle strategies.
Your ability to align technology with business objectives will play a crucial role in driving WWC's strategic vision forward.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in technology, data business or related field; equivalent experience accepted
  • 8-10 years of experience in technology innovation or data strategy roles
  • Strong understanding of business processes data flows and technology used in engineering survey and environmental consulting
  • Experience directing data governance AI adoption, R& D/innovation intake or related programs.

This position will involve some travel (using WWC vehicles) and thus this offer is made on the condition that you have a valid driver's license and that you are able to be covered by WWC's vehicle insurance. This offer is also contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug & alcohol test. Please note that this is an offer of at-will employment and does not constitute an employment contract between us.
