Data Entry/Digitizer Role

SPS Companies Fire Protection Division (Pipe Fabricators) is currently seeking an individual to fill a Data Entry/Digitizer role at our Maple Grove location. The starting wage is $23/hr.

Our Data Entry/Digitizer role would include, but not be limited to the following daily duties:

  • Hand entering or digitally processing projects
  • Work closely with our sales team members to ensure complete communication from project start to finish
  • Review fabrication paperwork for accuracy
  • Upload, prepare, & process fabrication quotes for our customers
  • Prepare purchase orders
  • Print fabrication paperwork & labels and prepare job folders for production lines.
  • Attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Be able to prioritize & complete a variety of tasks in a timely manner
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Be proficient in computer data entry & keyboarding.
  • Accurate typing/10 key
  • Once trained provide technical support to sales and customers
  • Create and maintain customer databases
  • Retrieving jobs via email from customers to be edited and reviewed
  • Editing and reviewing jobs in Hydralist to ensure material is correct
  • Entering jobs from specs created by contractors/fire protection
  • Troubleshoot issues with customers if fabrication files are incorrect

About SPS Companies - Fire Protection Division (Pipe Fabricators)

Established in 1984, Pipe Fabricators provides premier fire protection products and fabrication. Our Maple Grove location is one of six branches within the fire protection division of SPS companies, Inc. In addition to fire protection, SPS has a plumbing/HVAC division, and a roofing and sheet metal division.

This is a full-time position. Hours will be 7am - 3:30pm, but may vary on occasion. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, life, AD&D, long-term and short-term disability insurance.
