Job description

Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a versatile business analyst. The ideal candidate will have a mix of compliance, business analysis, and database skills and should be able to effectively communicate with clients and the IMP team. Our projects can include data integration, vendor searches, compliance, trade order management system implementations, and more. The ideal candidate will bring both industry and technical skills to IMP engagement teams, helping to ensure that our clients are utilizing the most out of their investment management systems.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of investment management (buy-side related) experience, preferably as a compliance or business analyst
  • Experience working with at least one trade order management system (LatentZero, Blackrock, Linedata, Charles River, Bloomberg AIM, etc.) with a strong understanding of the data being fed into these systems
  • Strong knowledge of equities, fixed income, derivatives, and the trade order life cycle
  • Strong project management and business analysis skills
  • Experienced in creating and executing test plans on projects
  • Solid written and oral communications skills
  • Understanding of compliance and the Investment Company Act of 1940 a plus
  • Knowledge of relational databases and how to code SQL in Oracle, MS SQL Server or Sybase a plus
  • Industry certification or advanced degrees a plus
