This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.

 

Job Description:

We are recruiting 2 FTE Family Physicians. Sunrise Medical Clinic located in Marlborough Community of Calgary, AB, is managed professionally, allowing the physicians to focus on patient care. The successful applicant will be working in a busy family practice clinic and will be a part of the Mosaic Primary Care Network. Our clinic is a patient-centered, medical home. We believe in the philosophy of involving patients as their health advocates and physicians play an important role in implementing all pillars of medical home. The family practice includes comprehensive care and chronic disease management, preventive care management, chronic pain clinic, patient education sessions on healthy living, diabetes management, and much more. We want physicians who believe in a balanced life and in making the clinic a patient medical home, offering a multitude of services such as same-day appointments.

Qualifications:

The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta and provide proof of malpractice insurance from The Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA). Must read, write, and speak English. Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
