Job description

Join CEDA as a Quality Control Inspector!

Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Salary: $26.78 - $31.49 /hour

CEDA (Community and Economic Development Association) is a dynamic nonprofit on a mission to empower communities and fight poverty. We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our dynamic Weatherization Department and ensure our programs maintain the highest quality standards for the communities that need us!


What You’ll Do:

  • Perform in-depth home evaluations and indoor diagnostic testing.
  • Analyze results from diagnostic tools and confirm contractor work aligns with energy-saving goals.
  • Ensure all projects meet program standards and health/safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive data with care and confidentiality.
  • Analyze energy software results and confirm the accuracy of all inputs and energy conservation measures and retrofits in the scope of work.
  • Represent CEDA professionally in the field and build positive relationships with clients and contractors.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Required: High school graduate or equivalent (GED). Must be BPI/HEP Energy Auditor certified. Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance that meets State requirements.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, bilingual in English and Spanish, and non-profit experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A professional, approachable attitude and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and respect confidentiality.
