How much does insulation install pay?

Insulation installers typically earn between $15 and $25 per hour, with annual salaries ranging from approximately $30,000 to $50,000 depending on experience, location, and whether they work full-time or part-time. Skilled installers with certifications or specialized tools may earn higher wages, especially in regions with high demand for construction and renovation work.

Insulation installers typically need a state or local contractor's license, which may require passing a trade exam and demonstrating experience. Some regions also require specialized certifications, such as OSHA safety training, to ensure safe work practices. Licensing requirements vary by location, so it is important to check local regulations for specific licensing standards.
